Let's Raise Another Pint is the 2nd CD from Susan Borowski and Matt Hughes' Side Project, Celtic Shores. The album features Traditional favorites like Bonnie Ship the Diamond and Tell Me Ma. Steeped in the Celtic tradition, the originals on the album feel like old time Celtic Tunes, the title track opens the CD with some of Sue's signature fiddle work as they jump into the rousing chorus. You are transported back to Ireland watching a session jam! The Coal Miner's Wife adds a sorrowful note to the CD with its undertones of a Wife's dreadful premonition. Sue adds her own spirit to tunes like Gypsy Rover and Rolling Home. Good Drinking Weather was inspired by Sue. She said to Matt.. hey you should write a song called Good Drinking Weather! A few weeks later, it was written and arranged! The duo blisters through Morrison's Jig bringing it vibrant life! Lastly, the CD closes out with Cruiscin Lan which became the duos set closer. Let's Raise our glasses high, let's not part with lips so dry, tho the lark doth proclaim it is the Dawn, but since we can't remain, may we shortly meet again to fill another Cruiscin Lan.
